Why should you listen to me?
Let me tell you a story… I’d like to introduce you to a woman who’s been an executive for 32 years. She’s an entrepreneur and the founder of two businesses, a busy mom with two active boys and a husband who travels extensively. She’s also a paid professional singer on weekends and she volunteers for a number of organizations.
This woman is the one responsible for keeping things going smoothly with all their schedules, driving the kids to school, keeping track of after school sports and activities, managing her own schedule and her businesses. She doesn’t work 14- hour days, she generally keep weekends open for family activities, she works from a home office and she doesn’t have a full-time assistant.
It’s a lot to handle and it could become overwhelming, but she’s able to do it with relative ease.
How does She do it?
Over the years, she’s developed a specific Mindset as well as Systems to get things done in ways that allow her to create more time for the things she needs and wants to accomplish. She’s been the Assistant Editor of a regional magazine. She worked for the Marketing Division of the 1980 Lake Placid Olympic Organizing Committee. She was a Product Manager and Marketing Director for major U.S. Commercial Banks and Directed the Career Management and Executive Education Divisions at Harvard Business School, managing relationships with thousands of Corporate Executives and Recruiters.
Through trial and error and many mistakes, she learned a FORMULA to manage multiple projects, lead teams, manage and coach executives, run a household, manage multiple businesses, raise a family and simultaneously manage her time successfully and without a lot of stress.
It took her YEARS to figure out the formula that was right for her…

Believe me when I say, she hasn’t always been so effective with her time.
Her career in commercial banking is a good example. Her bosses and mentors were men. And while she learned some very useful strategies for managing her time from them, she thought she had to act like them and mold herself to fit the roles they were modeling for her, in order to be successful.
She put in the 14-hour days–She was the last one to leave the office. She had little personal life and was totally consumed by the job. She read all the popular business and time management pdfs and books and enrolled in courses to keep up and try to get ahead.
She was stressed out, overwhelmed, and her health began to suffer.
What happened next began to change her life…
While driving home from an off-site conference, she was lost in thought about the events of the day and what she still had to accomplish.
She never saw the Truck.
In an instant, her car was broadsided by two-ton flat bed truck that ran through a stop sign. Her car came to a stop in the middle of a busy intersection. The car was crushed except for a tiny little space behind the steering wheel where she’d been sitting. She was lucky…she lived.
I seriously think her angels saved her life that day. She only suffered minor bruises but had a concussion and severe back pain. After a brief visit to the hospital, she returned to work several days later. Then, after months of physical therapy and a full year of visits to a chiropractor, her back pain still persisted…and so did the stress at work.
Then her boss gave her a copy of a book to read about meditation. She didn’t realize meditation was a useful tool she could use to relieve stress. She didn’t realize the connection between stress and her persistent back pain.
As she began to read about the philosophy behind the practice, she BEGAN TO LOOK AT TIME IN A TOTALLY NEW WAY. She realized that all her attempts to be productive and successful had almost succeeded in helping her lose her life.
Not only that, she didn’t feel as though she had a sense of purpose or passion about what she needed to be doing with her life. All the time she spent devoted to her work life had left her disconnected from her intuition and her feminine nature. She had lost track of the true meaning of her life, her time and its value.
Since then, which was many years ago, this woman has had a continual awakening in how to stay within her grounded personal energy while consistently moving toward her goals and getting things done.
She reclaimed her personal power and her connection to a much bigger force in the universe. She found her purpose and embraced how she spends her time in a whole new way…life opened up for her with grace and certainty, and it continues each and every day!
These experiences have helped her develop the “inner” tools and strategies to stay organized and focused, grateful, and engaged in her life.
